Descriptions of committee roles
VP Teaching Can be a joint or single role. The VP Teaching is responsible for organising and co-ordinating OxDAT teaching days on a monthly basis. This includes agreeing themes and sourcing speakers as well as logistical arrangement, communication with trainees, collating and distributing feedback. Core Trainee Representative
LTFT Representative
Welfare Can be a joint or single role. The Welfare Rep is responsible for trainee wellbeing within the region. This encompasses liasing with local site leads to support trainees with any welfare issues. The role affords the opportunity to plan welbeing events for the region, promoting a supportive and inclusive trainee network.
Green Representative Champions sustainability in the region. Liases with the sustainabiliity network across the Thames Valley Region to run an annual Green project, organise a yearly Green and Sustainability OxDAT educational day and present the results at Macintosh Day.
