Choosing your working days
You may wish to consider the following when choosing your working vs. non-working days (correct as of April 2024):
For novices, the RIACT course runs on Mondays
Final FRCA teaching is the 3rd Wednesday of each month
ICU teaching is the last Wednesday of each month
Bank holidays: most of these fall on a Monday, but if Monday is your non-working day, remember you can claim TOIL for bank holidays on a pro-rata basis. E.g. if you are 60% LTFT, you can claim TOIL for 5 bank holidays per year (60% of 8 BH)
