The Thames Valley programme intends to give individuals 6 months Stage 3 in a DGH and then 18 months in OUH.
Many of the SIAs and key capabilities lend themselves to at least some time in a DGH and so completion will not be compromised.
It is also possible to start populating an SIA in a DGH and continue it at OUH where it can be considered for final sign off (hybrid approach).
The College intend flexibility for SIAs, and this is what we are aiming to offer.
Attached are prospectuses for some of the SIA available in the region. More will be published as they become available. Please contact oxdatteaching@oxdat.com if you wish to see (or update) a prospectus which is not on the page.
Dr Amisha Burumdayal amisha.burumdayal@ouh.nhs.uk arranges SIA allocation at OUH. The process for applying for SIAs can be found in this presentation.
More information about SIAs available at the each Thames Valley trust is available here.
The most recent Stage 3 and SIA Induction seminar took place on 18th September 2024 at OUH. A recording of some of the options presented at this seminar can be found here. Please email training@oxdat.com to request access if required.
